Monica Luxon:
Monica Luxon is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and the managing principal of Luxon Realty Services. Upon graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. degree in Finance, Monica began her career in Dallas as a Banking Officer and Credit Analyst in the commercial banking division of Bank of America, responsible for the underwriting and monitoring of middle market clients with a combined portfolio in excess of $500million.
After leaving Bank of America in 1999, Monica served in Austin from 2000 to 2004 as the Senior Financial Analyst and Program Administrator of the Private Activity Bond program for the Texas Bond Review Board and was responsible for annually allocating $1.3 Billion of federal bond cap. In these capacities, Monica educated elected officials and industry practitioners at various speaking engagements and via testimony before legislative committees. She was additionally involved with the creation of approximately $2 billion of affordable housing in the State of Texas while working for the Board.
Monica returned to the public sector in 2004, relocating to the Dallas office of MMA Financial, LLC, a public company providing national debt and equity financing for affordable housing. In her capacity as AVP and Production Officer, she originated investments as part of a senior, mezzanine and preferred equity production team responsible $650 million of in production over a 23 month period.
Monica left MMA Financial in 2006 to form a real estate consulting and advisory business, RLMK W.O.L.F. Real Estate Solutions, LLC, now doing business as Luxon Realty Services. In this capacity, Monica provided real estate and tax credit consulting services to developers and owners of affordable housing across the US, building a significant client base. With the caveat that Monica would be able to retain and service existing clients of Luxon Realty Services, she became an employee of The Hunt Companies in 2011, overseeing a portfolio of two dozen affordable housing apartment communities located in Texas, Arizona, California and Florida totaling in excess of 4,000 units. She continued to oversee assets in Hunt-related partnerships in her capacity as Director of Asset Management for Alden Torch Financial through 2015. Monica has had responsibility for the asset management of more than 9,500 affordable and conventional housing units as both an employee of other firms and her own.
In 2013, Luxon Realty Services expanded its real estate scope of services to include brokerage (residential sales, commercial and residential leasing) and property management with the acquisition of a sizeable Austin-based residential property management portfolio. Monica manages and oversees both aspects of those lines of business as Broker and Manager in addition to providing consulting and asset management services on behalf of the firm.
When not actively engaged in professional endeavors, Monica enjoys hiking and running outdoors, riding her bike to the Saturday farmers market and exploring the world with her husband and the amazing kids she was lucky enough to gain by marrying their father. Monica’s passion for all things food-related extends beyond eating; in 2016 she obtained her professional chef’s certification from Rouxbe and she loves entertaining and subjecting friends and family to her cooking. Additionally, Monica has a long history of giving back to her community, most notably as an award-winning mentor in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program with which she actively volunteered for thirteen years.

Ryan Luxon:
Ryan Luxon has committed the last twenty plus years to building wealth in real estate for employers, colleagues, clients and family. Upon completing law school at Texas Tech University, Ryan returned to his hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida to work for MMA Financial LLC, a public investment firm that specializes in multifamily finance and asset management, providing both debt and equity for existing and to-be- built rental communities throughout the United States. During his seven-year tenure, he held many positions including Intern, In-House Counsel, Debt and Equity Originator and Fund Manager before being promoted to Regional Manager of the Western U.S. upon the retirement of a mentor, John Mullaney. Ryan originated and closed in excess of thirty transactions a year between 2000 and 2006, gaining a firm understanding of the dynamics of the closing process and the essentiality of collaboration and effective communication.
Ryan left MMA Financial in 2006 to form a consulting and advisory business, RLMK W.O.L.F. Real Estate Solutions, LLC, now doing business as Luxon Realty Services. Entering 2008, Ryan went to work for the firm’s largest client, the Hunt Companies, Inc., while retaining his ownership and advisory position in Luxon Realty Services. He was initially hired as an Executive Vice President of the company's primary development company, Hunt Development Group, LLC, where ultimately he was promoted to President in late 2013.
By 2015, Hunt Companies Inc. was reported by the National Multifamily Housing Council as the largest owner of multifamily housing in the United States, with over 200,000 units in its asset management portfolios. During Ryan’s eight year association with Hunt acting in multiple capacities throughout the affiliated companies, Ryan assisted another mentor James C. Hunt and the executive management team in its transition plan to evolve from primarily a real estate developer and general contractor into a multi-discipline asset management and finance firm. Succinctly, these efforts focused on asset and platform acquisition, disposition, and finance. Ryan was a lead negotiator and coordinator for Hunt on capital transactions in the US and Europe totaling in excess of $10 Billion USD, and became a representative on the Boards of Directors for: KCVG Hunt Opportunity Fund I LP, a private equity small cap investment vehicle; Hunt Investment Management, LLC, a SEC Registered Investment Advisor; LEDIC Realty Company, LLC, a fully integrated affordable housing real estate operating company; and Pinnacle Property Management Services, LLC, one of the nation's largest third-party multifamily property management firms. Ryan’s efforts and relationships provided both investment and development opportunities in high-yield, opportunistic, and value-add assets in residential for sale communities, office buildings, retail centers, apartments, senior housing, self-storage centers, and the land re-entitlement sector.
Ryan’s association with Hunt ended in 2015 and since that time, his primary professional focus has been toward furthering the pursuits of Luxon Realty Services. On a personal level, Ryan enjoys physical and intellectual challenges, spending time traveling and learning from others throughout the world, passionate soccer and current music fandom, and trying to further the dreams of family, friends and colleagues by providing resources where possible, along with supporting a variety of both well and lesser known charitable causes that impart a direct, meaningful and immediate impact.

Mariah Watkins:
Mariah Watkins is a licensed real estate salesperson, certified Texas Residential Leasing Specialist and a native to Austin, calling it home for her entire life. Mariah's passion for the service industry began at the age of 15 when she worked as a hostess at the original Chuy's in Austin and shortly thereafter was part of the team that opened the Hula Hut on Lake Austin; she continued working for the Comida Deluxe family of restaurants throughout high school and college and thereafter. While attending the University of Texas at Austin, Mariah worked for a local catering company called Hearts Desire which specialized in cooking for high profile touring musicians and stage crew as they passed through Austin. After completing her degree in Educational Psychology at UT, Mariah's passion for the culinary arts and her personal and familial struggle with gluten intolerance let her to open a gluten-free cafe in 2002, Wildwood, which is enjoying success at its third location in East Austin.
Following the birth of her first child, Mariah left the restaurant industry to pursue opportunities that would facilitate professional growth and afford her the ability to focus on her family. These pursuits led her to join Austin PDR, Inc where she has actively managed the books and the business for 15 years, contributing to the overall success of that company.
Mariah obtained her real estate salesperson's license in 2012 and joined Luxon Realty Services in 2013, to the benefit of the firm. Mariah's diligence, work ethic and passion for pleasing her clients have fueled her sales success as both a buyer's agent and a seller's agent. She has earned a reputation among landlords and tenants alike for outstanding customer service, excellent communication and the ability to solve problems quickly, all of which have led to countless referrals, leasing opportunities and new property management accounts. Mariah's continued pursuit of education and excellence led her to obtain the designation of Texas Residential Leasing Specialist in 2015.
When not actively engaged in professional pursuits, Mariah focuses her time and attention on enriching the lives of her family and her community. She volunteers frequently at her children's schools, her local library and as a polling place volunteer during elections. Mariah is a talented quilter, baker and chef to the delight and benefit of her family and friends with whom she is generous with her time and attention. She is intuitive, creative and continually amazes those around her with her breadth of knowledge and Macgyver-like feats.
